FWM manufactures ambient air vaporizers for liquid argon supplied from Dewars, liquid cylinders, microbulk systems, and bulk tanks. DVAP models support intermittent cylinder withdrawal, while AV Series and engineered vaporizer banks support higher-flow industrial applications.

Argon vaporizer sizing considerations

Liquid argon boils at -303°F (-186°C) at atmospheric pressure, between nitrogen and oxygen. Argon's high density (heavier than air) and complete inertness make it valuable for applications where nitrogen's lighter weight or oxygen's reactivity are not suitable.

Welding operations often have intermittent, high-peak demand patterns. Properly sized vaporizers ensure consistent gas delivery without pressure drop during heavy use periods.

For continuous high-volume applications (electronics manufacturing, large welding shops), manifolded banks or FWM AV Series large-capacity units may be required.
