FWM manufactures ambient air vaporizers for liquefied natural gas (LNG) applications including peak shaving facilities, vehicle fueling systems, and industrial heating. LNG vaporizers convert stored liquid methane back to gaseous form for pipeline injection or direct use.
Because LNG is a flammable hydrocarbon, every LNG configuration requires FWM engineering review. These are engineered builds, not a model conversion of a nitrogen, oxygen, or argon vaporizer: material selection, pressure path, outlet temperature, and code requirements are confirmed for the specific installation.

LNG vaporization considerations
Liquefied natural gas is stored at approximately -260°F (-162°C). The large temperature differential between LNG and ambient air makes ambient vaporization effective, though LNG applications often have specific requirements for outlet temperature and pressure based on pipeline or equipment specifications.
Peak shaving applications require high-capacity vaporization during periods of high natural gas demand. Vehicle fueling and industrial heating applications may have different duty cycle and flow rate requirements.
