Control starts before production begins.

Quality is not a final-step inspection at FWM. Requirements are reviewed during engineering intake, so drawings, materials, tolerances, inspection points, test requirements, documentation, packaging, and shipment expectations are understood before the first cut.

Planning the documentation up front means the record is built alongside the part, not assembled at the last minute. By the time a job reaches shipping, the traceability and inspection records already exist.

FWM reviews applicable code, welding, testing, inspection, traceability, cleaning, and documentation requirements during engineering intake. Final scope depends on the product, service, drawing package, customer requirements, and approved quote.

Data Protection

Customer drawings, specifications, production data, and technical packages are treated as proprietary. FWM supports NDA-first review and limits access to the internal team assigned to the project.

Files are access-controlled and handled by the production team working the job. When a program ends, FWM follows customer-directed retention or destruction procedures where applicable.

Non-Conformance

When an issue is found, the record stays with it.

Non-conformances are documented, reviewed, dispositioned, root-caused, and corrected according to FWM's quality procedures. Customer communication and transparency are part of the process when an issue affects the program.
