FWM uses structured digital systems to support quoting, production scheduling, material planning, job documentation, and quality records. These tools keep information organized from first review through shipment. The systems organize the work; experienced FWM engineers, production managers, welders, inspectors, and quality personnel make the decisions.

Customer drawings, specifications, and project information are treated as confidential manufacturing records and are reviewed through controlled internal processes. Engineering, quality, and production decisions remain human-led.

01 — Sizing Engine

The derating model behind every quote.

Every AV Series recommendation and every vaporizer quote is confirmed against the derating model FWM applications engineers use internally. Engineering review applies cold-climate derating, duty-cycle adjustment, and altitude correction, factors that catalog tools ignore but that determine whether a unit performs in the field. The model draws on five decades of build and field experience, not from a spreadsheet someone found online.

A streamlined first-pass check powers the Vaporizer Sizing Tool on this site for quick duty-cycle-adjusted estimates; FWM engineering applies the full derating model to every quote before it is issued.

02 — Digital Quoting

FWM's quoting system runs from a structured intake form through automated model selection to a budgetary quote reviewed and approved by an engineer before it reaches you. No generic catalog lookups. No quote that ships without someone signing off.

03 — The Floor

Production software FWM built and runs on its own floor.

Most contract manufacturers outsource production tracking to ERP vendors who have never been inside a welding bay. FWM built its own. The system tracks jobs from PO receipt through final ship, with traceability, inspection checkpoints, and documentation requirements attached to every work order.

Digital job travelers

Every work order carries a live digital traveler. Revision-controlled drawings, routing steps, and inspection checkpoints travel with the job from first operation to ship.

Production tracking

FWM-built software tracks job status, lot and heat traceability, weld maps, and NCR history across the shop floor in real time. Engineers see the floor; customers see accurate schedules.

Quality documentation

Inspection records, first article packages, and customer-specific documentation requirements are organized through the same system. Nothing ships without a closed documentation record.
