FWM reviews build-to-print frames, base skids, and mounting assemblies used to support dehumidifiers, air handlers, and packaged rooftop equipment. Programs can include cutting, forming, aluminum or stainless steel welding, component mounting, inspection, and repeat production.
These are structural support assemblies. If a project also requires flashing, insulation, weatherproofing, or a curb surrounding a roof or duct opening, identify that building-envelope scope separately so FWM can confirm fit before quoting.

Skid fabrication process
Equipment skids consolidate components into a single, shippable unit. FWM fabricates the structural frame, performs piping and component mounting, and manages assembly through testing and packaging.
For OEMs with recurring skid requirements, FWM maintains documentation, work instructions, and supplier relationships to support repeat production.

Make the boundary between the fabricated frame and the equipment mounted on it clear before requesting a quote.
- Can the quote cover a frame or a larger assembly?
- FWM reviews build-to-print aluminum and stainless frames, equipment skids and rooftop equipment supports. Specify whether you need the frame alone or component mounting, piping, wiring, testing and packaging reviewed as part of the program.
- What engineering and inspection information should I include?
- Provide the approved frame drawing, material requirements, equipment interfaces, mounting details and any specified lifting provisions. Identify required inspection records or project standards in the RFQ so FWM can confirm its scope before quoting.
