FWM does not extrude profiles, we fabricate customer-supplied or specified profiles through our cutting, machining, welding, and assembly capabilities.

Planning your project
From an extruded profile to a finished OEM assembly
FWM performs the fabrication steps after a profile has been extruded: cutting, machining, welding and assembly.
- Who supplies the aluminum profiles?
- FWM fabricates customer-supplied or specified profiles; it does not extrude the raw profile. Include the profile drawing, alloy, temper, available stock lengths and your supply plan so material sourcing and secondary operations can be reviewed together.
- What makes an extrusion fabrication RFQ complete?
- Show the finished part lengths, hole locations, tapped features, weld joints and assembly interfaces. Identify cosmetic surfaces and any finishing or protective-packaging requirements. Include a bill of materials when hardware or other parts are assembled with the profiles.
