Start with the existing unit
The fastest path to a replacement is documenting what is already installed. The existing manufacturer, model number, and nameplate data tell FWM a great deal about the original duty and configuration.
- Existing manufacturer (Thermax, Chart, Cryonorm, Cryoquip, Cryolor, Taylor-Wharton, or other)
- Model number from the nameplate or documentation
- Nameplate photos and any available drawings
Document the operating conditions
Operating data confirms how the unit is actually used, which matters more than the model number alone when recommending a replacement path.
- Gas service (LIN, LOX, LAR, LNG, H₂, He, or other)
- Flow rate in SCFH, SCFM, lb/hr, kg/hr, or note if unknown
- Operating pressure in PSIG or bar, or note if unknown
- Duty cycle and hours of operation
Capture the physical installation
A replacement has to fit the existing footprint and tie into the existing piping. Capturing the mounting and connection details up front avoids surprises in the field.
- Footprint: mounting pad size, height, width, depth
- Connection size, type, and orientation
- Photos of the full unit, nameplate, connections, and mounting

FWM reviews replacement vaporizer requests using the existing manufacturer, model number, nameplate, gas service, flow rate, pressure, footprint, and connection orientation. Brand names may be referenced only to help identify existing equipment. FWM is not affiliated with those manufacturers, and replacement recommendations require application review.
